Black Giraffe
Zarraffa’s Coffee & Burleigh Brewing Company have blended together to bring Australia their two favourite beverages in one unique bottle. Black Giraffe is an alluring mix of Burleigh’s finest lager & Zarraffa’s unique aromatic coffee. Black Giraffe is packaged in dinner size 650ml, screen printed collectible bottles which are as unique as the brew itself.
The Unique Brewing Process:
Black Giraffe is the result of collaboration between Burleigh Brewing Co and Zarraffa’s Coffee that saw the brewer combine 100 kilos of 100 per cent Rainforest Alliance coffee beans to create a locally-produced rich and flavoursome black coffee lager.
Following almost six months of planning, two of the Gold Coast’s best-known brewers, Brennan Fielding of Burleigh Brewing Co and Kenton Campbell of Zarraffa’s Coffee, came together to grind, pour and mix the right ingredients to create the first locally-made black coffee lager.
‘A very smooth – tasting beer with a nice hint of coffee, which is not overpowering and leaves a very pleasant after taste’.
The Burleigh Brewing Co team worked swiftly alongside the Zarraffa’s Coffee team grinding hundreds of kilos of 100% Mexican Rainforest Alliance coffee beans, ready to be poured directly into the brewing beer, in the one-hour window available.
There is a limited amount of this one of a kind beer so you’ll have to move fast to get a taste!
The beer has taken about four weeks to brew to perfection, and is available direct from Burleigh Brewing at 17A Ern Harley Drive, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220 between 10am - 5pm weekdays and now on shelves at:
