The froth flew as Zarraffa’s Coffee Baristas competed yesterday at The Village Theatre, Marine Village Sanctuary Cove to create the perfect cup of coffee and battle it out for 2011 honours.

Congratulations to Kate White from Zarraffa’s Coffee Upper Coomera, who won the Zarraffa’s Coffee Barista Completion, 2011 on Sunday, 11^thSeptember!

Kate’s signature drink, named ‘Garden of Eden’, was infused with the ‘homely’ and comforting flavours of dried fig reduction and butterscotch cream, to complement the espresso base.

Kate’s performance was impeccable and she highly deserves the win and is the best choice to fly the Zarraffa’s Coffee flag when we go head to head with other top Baristas in Queensland!

The runner up was Chris Inch from the Zarraffa’s Coffee Toowong store.

Congratulations to all of our baristas who competed on the day; Mish Svoboda also from the Upper Coomera store, Justin Fu, also from the Toowong store, Andrea Cochrane from the Helensvale store and Mitchell Flori from the Ferry Road store.

There was a great turnout at the event and it was fantastic to see so much support for our talented baristas!
